SNL has been unwatchable for years and years.

2018-10-01 00:07:52 UTC

Don't know how it survives.

2018-10-01 00:08:02 UTC

idk i found it was always hit or miss

2018-10-01 00:08:09 UTC

But now SNL is more interesting.

2018-10-01 00:08:16 UTC

A lot more misses now for me

2018-10-01 00:08:44 UTC

How laggy can text possibly be

2018-10-01 00:09:01 UTC

@Scribblehatch I humbly recommend going into debt. Debt is good for the soul.

2018-10-01 00:09:07 UTC

No.

2018-10-01 00:09:19 UTC

I want to pay my own way through every little thing.

2018-10-01 00:09:23 UTC

oic.. well ok then

2018-10-01 00:09:29 UTC

Help me help america not become a dystopia.

2018-10-01 00:09:37 UTC

Seriously.

2018-10-01 00:09:44 UTC

I don't know enough about your personal situation to offer any additional advice.

2018-10-01 00:09:56 UTC

Every debt taken makes the situation worse for the person coming in directly behind them.

2018-10-01 00:10:12 UTC

"I did it, so you do it. Just a little more though."

2018-10-01 00:10:23 UTC

"Wow it wasn't this much when I was your age. But it should be fine."

2018-10-01 00:10:53 UTC

"Hey stop complaining. I'm sure people know what they're doing when they charge you this much for the exact same thing--or maybe the thing is a lot worse. Eh, not my problem. I'm over here."

2018-10-01 00:11:02 UTC

"I got mine. Fuck you."

2018-10-01 00:11:29 UTC

That's the metamorphosis of someone who surrendered to something easy.

2018-10-01 00:11:36 UTC

No debt.

2018-10-01 00:13:55 UTC

Tim makes a good point in the student debt video. Erasing student debt means the mistakes of the guilty are passed on to the innocent.

2018-10-01 00:14:04 UTC

I can't believe how much shit I get, essentially telling people "I want to pay for everything I receive on time. I don't want to borrow."

2018-10-01 00:14:26 UTC

Grenade was calling me a leech the other day, because I live with my mom.

2018-10-01 00:14:34 UTC

I know it's intentional, but this still sounds stupid, and I want to believe he didn't know what he was writing.

2018-10-01 00:15:06 UTC

What I fear it proves, is that assholes have senses of humour too!

2018-10-01 00:15:29 UTC

I'm a leech by some people's standards, but the government decided to comp me for my learning disability + my father's military service

2018-10-01 00:15:37 UTC

I was joking about debt being good for the soul, but I don't think debt is the source of all evil like you seem to think it is. If someone gives me $50 and asks me to build a chair for them, I now owe them the chair... this is debt. It comes with expectations, but there's nothing inherently wrong with that. It only becomes a problem when you go too many levels deep.

2018-10-01 00:15:54 UTC

Shouldn't it be enough that I said I'll die before going into debt?

2018-10-01 00:15:57 UTC

@Risotto I'd call those reasonable entitlements. Somebody earned them specifically on your behalf.

2018-10-01 00:16:09 UTC

@Risotto At least your father's military service.

2018-10-01 00:16:31 UTC

Part of my medical insurance is because of it anyway

2018-10-01 00:16:36 UTC

@Scribblehatch If you're going to reject my perfectly reasonable explanation simple debt I am not sure there is any hope for you.

2018-10-01 00:16:47 UTC

Disgusting.

2018-10-01 00:16:56 UTC

What I don't like is people who have so much going for them, but blame everyone but themselves for not doing what seems like just the last step before success of some sort.

2018-10-01 00:16:57 UTC

ya know, i just got to thinking. I keep hearing that black unemployment is at record lows...but...I am pretty sure there was a period in US history where it was even lower...

2018-10-01 00:17:00 UTC

And the military helps retirees if they have a disabled dependent

2018-10-01 00:17:05 UTC

good thing about debt... is that 99% of the time inflation is happening and your debt gets smaller and smaller without even paying it off... if you get a interest free student loan its totally worth it
