by the time they're 16, isn't it a bit late for this to matter?
As much as im about to sound like an sjw
At 16 in most places, you can consent to full-on sex, so I don't see how this could have much impact.
its never too late to hear about body positivity
there has to be a limit to it though
mostly it should be focused on being ok with yourself as long as your healthy
Man I think the show target age is 12-14 year old
I mean, I'm fine with people being at peace with things they can not change.
(while being aware that they can change a great deal)
It just seems the rating is dishonest, which I guess may just be by design.
I think I saw (the original) The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo when I was 14, in a theatre.
Including the rather graphic rape scene.
interesting
in america that wouldve definitely been an 18+ movie
I think it was here too
I don't think I've ever heard of somebody being denied entry to a film showing by age though.
I was
The ratings here are the same, but I'm not sure anyone enforces them, or has to.
i got carded at the theater
lol
Even there I think it might be a matter of theater policy
I think it'd be weird for something like that to be in law.
oh yeah it is
its not law
its policy
its a policy so uptight mothers can be happy in the nights
Heheh
more or less yea
I dont want my child to see this in a theater!
let them find out about it on their own time on the internet
i mean.... yeah
like normal people
there's movies I don't want my kid watching
the same way I limit what can be gotten to on the internet in our home
Shit I seen a lot in the early age of 9 in the internet
mind you my kid is 6
well yea
once they hit 13, i care a bit less
hopefully you dont use those youtube playlists for kids
fuck no
