Holy Crap

2018-10-13 00:35:05 UTC

not graduated from scrub level to post images

2018-10-13 00:35:10 UTC

when did the GOP grow a pair of balls?

2018-10-13 00:35:24 UTC

The weight of McTumor has been lifted from the GOP.

2018-10-13 00:36:00 UTC

There is no way he was the sole cause of them being a bunch of wimps

2018-10-13 00:39:06 UTC

Maybe Trump's firm stand for Kavanaugh finally stirred their manhood.

2018-10-13 00:48:33 UTC

```aka "We all know you would do it."```
Yeah, they are highly intelligent and expect that - contrary to the flyer of "Blaskapelle Unterroth", that reads: "Geboren um zu blasen" (translated: Born to blow. Some people of the Internet thought it might have been a bit sexual) ;))
2018-10-13 00:50:16 UTC
lol Soyboy McSoyface that argued for incivility after Kavanough vote got fired for not being civil.
2018-10-13 00:50:37 UTC
Which one?
2018-10-13 00:51:16 UTC
ahh that one
2018-10-13 00:51:20 UTC
Good that he got fired.
2018-10-13 00:56:28 UTC
What an idiot
2018-10-13 01:01:24 UTC
Feels like Trudeau has been in office for like 10 years
2018-10-13 01:01:32 UTC
I'm sure someone has thought about this before and said it but bear with me. If the left now considers immutable characteristics to be something we can simply identify as or with, this means that virtually everything is a choice. This simply reinforces the concept that discrimination is fine given that if choosing to be black or gay or whatever else connotates certain positions or characteristics about you, then others have a very legitimate argument to not want you around or to associate with you.
Example, the left says that certain black people aren't "authentically black" and should not identify as black or at the very least are not being good at being black. In that case, if I were to decide that being black meant a bunch of things I personally disagree with, then I'm within my right to not associate with those individuals. Not because of something they can't change, but because they made the choice to be black.
Does this logic follow?
2018-10-13 01:02:10 UTC
The trouble is that logic is irrelevant to post-modern ideologies.
2018-10-13 01:02:16 UTC
Why?
2018-10-13 01:02:22 UTC
It follows their ideology
2018-10-13 01:02:43 UTC
They reject reason as a path to truth, and consider the pursuit of truth as meaningless.
2018-10-13 01:02:57 UTC
We see here, an NPC slowly realising that giving up freedom for security has consequences. https://twitter.com/jrmaidment/status/1050665347454394370?s=19
2018-10-13 01:03:10 UTC
Hence why they can participate in double-think without any cognitive dissonance.
2018-10-13 01:03:41 UTC
Even changing stances in consecutive sentences without any hint of confusion of inauthenticity.
2018-10-13 01:04:13 UTC
#pizzagate2
2018-10-13 01:04:27 UTC
Ok. Then I can simply say that their truth isn't my truth. Therefore their truth is irrelevant
2018-10-13 01:04:39 UTC
If you have not already done so, please read or listen to the audiobook of Explaining Postmodernism
<https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qQcNjHNXnEE>
2018-10-13 01:04:47 UTC
Ok
2018-10-13 01:04:56 UTC
That seems vaguely fun
2018-10-13 01:05:05 UTC
@oprahsminge How do you think the oppression hierarchy was justified?
2018-10-13 01:05:08 UTC
I assume I'll need to decompress after
2018-10-13 01:05:11 UTC
It's dense at first, but once you get past the first ~20% it's really revealing as to the behavior of extreme leftists.
2018-10-13 01:05:25 UTC
@Abel using the concept of nothing being the truth
2018-10-13 01:05:47 UTC
You are a white person, a white person's truth is less than a black person's truth
2018-10-13 01:05:58 UTC
The extreme left didn't arrive at their behavior in a vacuum. There's an entire philosophical underpinning that is virtually unknown to the average joe.
2018-10-13 01:06:14 UTC
What I'm trying to point out is that essentially, you can suggest some pretty incredible stuff. When you lay the logic like that out to regular people, they see the inconsistency perfectly
2018-10-13 01:06:23 UTC
Indeed
2018-10-13 01:06:49 UTC
Ok. So I guess to rephrase, is this a good way to describe the insanity to someone who is not entirely hooked in to seeing it?
2018-10-13 01:06:54 UTC
Oh yeah, you can attack postmodernist ideas for a normie audience because normies are mostly modernist though they don't have any idea what that is.
2018-10-13 01:07:27 UTC
But attacking a postmodernist's ideas using modernist philosophy is pointless as they reject the premise.
2018-10-13 01:07:31 UTC
I'll listen to the book or read it as I would like to understand the underpinnings of it.
2018-10-13 01:07:39 UTC
Hence why the best tactic against postmodernists is simply to ridicule them.
2018-10-13 01:07:47 UTC
Right I get that part. I mean you neednt look further than twitter
