@LickMiNoodle I like them both rbh
@Radmin After thinking about it, I have granules in one of my kits somewhere so I put my eggs in the gauze basket. But one of those Celox pen thingies are only $20ish
Those are great for smaller holes
Hey, good point. Those for entries, and gauze for exits
Exactly, don't forget a chest seal
Don't want a sucking chest wound
Yessir, I have 4 vented ones in my leg kit. Because I don't wanna have to put a needle the size of my dinger in someone's chest lmao
I actually need to grab one of those thanks for reminding me
Chest decompression isn't that bad, well at least not for the applicator... For the victim it's not so fun until it starts working
That's what I mean. I can do it if need be, but knowing it's really unpleasant for the recieving party sucks.
Sister and her boo thang are EMT's, mr boo thang shared a lot of stories with me
I've never had to apply one in real life situations, but learning as a private with drill sergeants screaming in you're gave doing it over and over again until you get it right then doing it again and again and again until you're not even phased by the panic definitely helps. Then practicing in dummies for the next 6 years helped a lot more. I used to volunteer to help our attached medics learn how to put an IV in since as they say "I have veins a dope fiend would kill for"
I'd love to have real, solid training like that. I'd think that's better than anything I can read, watch, or do on my own.
And that was a small factor that got me into fitness, because being a fat hemophiliac really sucks when you gotta poke yourself
Yea it's not fun when you don't like em and have to poke yourself like 5 times
Ok I'm gonna go to sleep, but first I'll share this @everyone
