I'm thinking a aluminum ball with holes in it, some kind of electromagnetic field generator and a ball of ionized gases, make a trigger and timer for the EM field and it should make the gases superheat

My plan is to use a complex metal displacement system. By rough calculations I should be able to use projected metal to displace the attacking metal
