Honestly I think Jim survived off YouTube drama that he in part or completely stirred up. At first it was funny when he attacked the low hanging fruit of internet sperglord and furries. But that well quickly dried up along with his ad revenue, so he had to whip up more drama to perpetuate his brand. The walls started closing in on him as his world came down around him and he freaked out.

Ayn Rand was an interesting thinker. I think her worldview was a bit off but she certainly is influential and has compelling arguments.

People usually know that Objectivism is the Ayn Rand philosophy thing in these circles
