2020-03-19 08:41:49 UTC

He doesnt check these chats

2020-03-19 08:42:15 UTC

I've tried everything, he might receive tons of things and not even check it all

2020-03-19 08:43:27 UTC

You're telling me shelves are emptying. Is that because stock have yet to be replenished or there is no ability to restock? Are you making assumptions from what you're seeing or have you spoken to the manager/business owner?

2020-03-19 08:43:57 UTC

Past 3 days of visiting my walmart

2020-03-19 08:43:57 UTC

If any of you have closer contact with him, please, let him know I would love to ask him about his career and political plans, I follow him for a long time

2020-03-19 08:44:10 UTC

Dude, come on. You're making assumptions.

2020-03-19 08:44:33 UTC

Annecdotal expriences doesnt mean my assumptions arent completely unbased

2020-03-19 08:44:37 UTC
2020-03-19 08:44:42 UTC

You arent wrong i am making assumptions

2020-03-19 08:44:54 UTC

@Fanny Anzai * Dr.Owlet np just letting u know in advance

2020-03-19 08:45:00 UTC

And when the shelves get restocked, what then?

2020-03-19 08:45:35 UTC

That doesnt mean distributors and suppliers arent feeling the heat rn

2020-03-19 08:45:51 UTC

And with the recent restrictions on travel

2020-03-19 08:45:58 UTC

And market going in the shitter

2020-03-19 08:46:12 UTC

Its pretty obvious what will happen

2020-03-19 08:46:45 UTC

The breadth of your analysis is visiting your local Walmart for 3 days.

2020-03-19 08:46:46 UTC

Dude

2020-03-19 08:47:21 UTC

In a city of 50k is a good sample size

2020-03-19 08:47:25 UTC

Its anecdote

2020-03-19 08:47:30 UTC

But it is telling

2020-03-19 08:47:33 UTC

What does travel restrictions have to do with food supply chain? Goods are largely unaffected in any travel restrictions being imposed, whether by the US or anywhere else.

2020-03-19 08:47:39 UTC

No it's not

2020-03-19 08:47:53 UTC

It's certainly not "telling" to the degree of a national level.

2020-03-19 08:47:56 UTC

@Lidomite our soybean imports from china, rice imports

2020-03-19 08:48:32 UTC

For example on food

2020-03-19 08:48:52 UTC

What? The US EXPORTS soybeans and rice to China

2020-03-19 08:48:57 UTC

What are you talking about import?

2020-03-19 08:49:27 UTC

Rice doesnt natively grow in the usa

2020-03-19 08:49:33 UTC

Corn and wheat does

2020-03-19 08:51:30 UTC

Im not an expert i will say that and yes the USA wont starve at first

2020-03-19 08:51:34 UTC

I am sure the supplies will continue and I've heard from employers of Costco just doing my normal biweekly shopping earlier today and I had finished all my previous stock. Didn't get the bread I like and no paper towel but they restocking on the beginning of the week and I didn't try other markets in town. Tomorrow maybe I still have rags. And toilet paper for another two weeks or more

2020-03-19 08:52:55 UTC

But the pressure is on the market rn. The fear mongering among the Media doesnt help either

2020-03-19 08:53:14 UTC

The US is food self-sufficient.

2020-03-19 08:53:14 UTC

You probably buy grains from south America as many fruits and the things still moving

2020-03-19 08:53:28 UTC

Either this is a panic nothing burger

2020-03-19 08:53:31 UTC

" Other countries in the exclusive club of self sufficiency: Canada, Australia, Russia, India, Argentina, Burma, Thailand, the U.S. and a few small others."

2020-03-19 08:53:37 UTC

Or the second wave in the winter

2020-03-19 08:53:44 UTC

Will be the death of us all
