Anybody who uses natsoc unironically is just not very smart. No politician will be able to proclaim they are a national socialist even if they hold some nationalist ideas and a few socialist ideas. They will always have to rebrand it in a new way. Tucker has said that he is against a lot of the things that primarily benefit the elites in this country. He rails on h1-b visas for example. To some degree he does represent the average middle-class worker in America. Tucker does speak to the workers more broadly in America. Restricting what these elites can do, and not deferring to just muh economic freedom, muh liberty. Is a somewhat socialist idea. The idea that we have a society that is connected together that to some degree has to be maintained.
The elite class wants the h1-b visas on both the democrat and republican side. But because tucker knows that it will primarily damage the average American worker he is against these visa programs. This is only one of many examples.
Now would Tucker ever say that this has some socialistic ideas embedded in it? Well not really. He would frame it in a nationalist perspective by saying that opposing these visas is an America First policy, he wouldnt say its a socialist policy.
Its all about the branding, the symbolism. The ideas themselves but also the presentation of the ideas.
Wait, you're *just now* noticing Carlson is helicopter ballast? I thought it was fairly obvious the day he stopped making that confused basset hound face at crazy leftists and offered his own opinions.....
well. The ghost agent is I guess.
2 things can be true at the same time.
You can be a capitalist and also be nationalist. They're not mutually exclusive.
capitalists would say to bring in the h1-b visa immigrants. So I dont think he would be as far right on the economic axis as that statement implies but perhaps Im mistaken. I think if you asked him if he is a capitalist he would probably really get more specific then that and he would probably say well no im not a capitalist, im a American father. or something based like that bruh
but. that doesnt mean he doesnt believe in private property and so on. I think he would say that he believes in some economic principles but its clear that in reality they have their limits. sort of like how he handled the discussion with charlie kirk.
Pretty sure he supports capitalism, but acknowledges that it requires a firm hand at the wheel
lest the people become a tool of capitalism, rather than the other way around
^ - That. he believes in private property/ownership of businesses and free exchange between parties. What he has a problem with is when such exchanges starts shitting on 3rd parties and the 3rd parties have no recourse from the harm being inflicted. Tantamount to a factory dumping toxic wastes into the river that is the water supply of a town down stream. Believing in the free market does not mean freedom from consequences.
In order for a free market to function, there needs to be law and order in which everyone plays by the same rules. He's fundamentally against the current model of corporatism where they win, we lose.
exactly. the market is not a deity, its a voracious and omnivorous beast of burden that must be brought to heel, and made to service the nation and her people
don't believe me? translate "too big to fail" to "too nutritious to eat"
I'm a capitalist but disagree with the visas entirely
IMO the default border position should be closed

wow a flu brings down the best country in the world
Not "what the fuck is an africa" levels of impermeable, mind, but the kind of thing where goods are carefully and painstakingly inspected so we can prevent the next chinese invasive insect/mold/etc. and where immigration is kept low. Tourism I think is a general good, though.
my house is wiping down groceries we bring in before storing them
Whats a flu to retard, retard?
how many capitalists are gonna beg for government bailout bois?
well that's basically all of non-progressive congress
since they just signed away between 2 and 4 trillion dollars that the economy will never see again
not including the absolute scraps you and me ***might*** get
you know Cruise liners were on that list?
as in fucking luxury god damn sailing liners?
bruh the fReEeEe muHArKet will provide for us
imagine thinking communism is any better people that support it are either dumb or evil or both
you know, the ones that almost exclusively hire anyone but americans and don't register for american taxes?
*poof*
that's how you make money disappear
into thin fucking air
when did Panama became the global tax haven?
Panama, or any pacific or carribean island where we have zero jusridiction, and yet companies based in this country put more of their revenue in than back into the economy
this is how you fuck up being a capitalist nation
well UhMuriKKKa can invade it again and take al the monies back
or more likely, China can seize them, claiming debt reclamation
how will they do that?
