2018-10-30 07:39:07 UTC

"On the surface, NPCs aspire to the same level of detail, acting out what seem to be full lives. An angry protester tosses something through a window for no reason; a clumsy antifa stops to jab a horse only to get arrested. These moments try to suggest the world is full of people going about their lives, but when contrasted with the rest of the 2018’s news, they are woefully artificial. The seams start to show, and it’s obvious that 2018’s people only exist in relation to me and are defined solely by what I can do them."

NPC is offended at how video games treat other NPCs

2018-10-30 07:58:46 UTC

NPCs are good people sometimes.

2018-10-30 07:59:02 UTC

Detroit: Become Human irl

2018-10-30 07:59:29 UTC

But the choices where you beat up cops and stuff

2018-10-30 08:01:48 UTC

its like kotaku never played a video game before

2018-10-30 08:02:10 UTC

Kotaku has always been so bad, that Super Best Friends NEVER gave them any leeway

2018-10-30 08:02:16 UTC

And this was **before** gamergate.

2018-10-30 08:40:54 UTC

there ain't no blue wave.

2018-10-30 08:41:36 UTC

"As of this posting, Republicans are leading Democrats by a staggering 11% in early voting with 75% of the state having voted.
The current GOP lead is 44-33%." @Timcast

2018-10-30 08:42:00 UTC

total rejection of incessant SJW screeching is in progress

2018-10-30 08:42:18 UTC

the democrats have destroyed themselves

2018-10-30 08:42:19 UTC

πŸ’‹ πŸ‘Œ

2018-10-30 08:48:22 UTC

"75% of the state having voted"

Already? Geez. That's a sign.

"11% lead"

Republicans usually lead in the early counts. Virginia in 2017 had R's up +8 for a while and then it flipped later strongly in favor of the Dems. I wouldn't make assumptions yet.

That said, If you haven't yet voted, GET ON IT. You don't count if you don't vote.

2018-10-30 08:48:51 UTC

Who would have thought, thats wonky .

2018-10-30 08:49:29 UTC

I dont count if I vote

2018-10-30 08:49:45 UTC

I live in Washington

2018-10-30 08:49:53 UTC

Will go blue anyway

2018-10-30 08:49:59 UTC

Yes you do. The parties look at the vote counts in allocating resources. It also sends a message.

2018-10-30 08:50:23 UTC

If Washington is only +3D instead of +10D it gets the party worried and the Republicans start eyeing things.

2018-10-30 08:50:47 UTC

Also, local elections are usually very low turnout, but they eventually work up to the national level.

2018-10-30 08:51:06 UTC

Its fine

2018-10-30 08:51:15 UTC

Not like my vote will matter

2018-10-30 08:51:16 UTC

Look into your school board, for example. There's almost certainly something you'd want changed, for example.

2018-10-30 08:51:21 UTC

Its rigged anyway

2018-10-30 08:51:36 UTC

I'm saying you may not flip a seat. But you will be counted.

2018-10-30 08:51:50 UTC

CA wouldn't be so nutty if the Democrats were concerned with losing it.

2018-10-30 08:51:58 UTC

WA is going the way of CA.
