The Night King is the only character I can empathize with.

But she's supposed to be dumb

Arya defeating Lady Brienne with that stupid little tooth pick and killing the night king were the biggest Mary Stu moments in the show

The night king wasn't in the books

That and escaping/defeating the waif

Literally a professional assassin

By chopping a candle

The night king would've been innthebbooks

They just didn't get to the white walker Arc in the books

In all fairness

We only get a few references to the white walkers in the books, they are an unknown, ominous threat
