I especially like how there's not a giant reliance on firearms. Max has his boomstick, but firing it is more like a limited, special and especially powerful attack and not something you run around shooting war boys with all the time.

Most of the time you just dish out brutal knuckle sandwiches or beat people up with melee weapons made from car parts.
Camoniggers
That is fishy.
China creates virus
China is heavily involved in Africa
Africa not so contaminated
That's the one thing that Fallout has sorely been missing imo
Using vehicles.
fuck vehicles?
vehicles in which one fucks
new spin on an old theme
Vehicular intercourse
we used to call that 'the drive-in'
Fallout 4 let you freaking paint power armour in hot rod paintjobs... Yet you can't cobble together single ride.
So lame
Tardthesda has always been lame
I know
Fallout would be shit with vehicles
It's too small
All they could add to the Fallout franchise was graphics but little else.
Even a running mod makes it feel smaller
@Vexillifer Skyrim I suppose
Stolen chinese food tastes GOOD
None really. I liked morrowind but it's a retarded game really
@phadreus Yeah, but if you made vehicles a thing that would give you an excuse to enlarge the game world too
If fallout isn't God tier the franchise is dead
Sadly
@Seven Proxies But now you're sorta projecting your own thing onto the game
@phadreus Like in mad max. You travel pretty damn far to go to places by car.
And even thought it's all desert... The rendition of the desert is fucking beautiful.
Fallout is supposed to be a dungeon crawler
@phadreus No it's not...
Well Idk how the old games were
But that's how fallout 3d seems to work best
Spiritual successors to wasteland, weren't they?
Medium large map and lots of dungeons
Even Fallout 1 and 2 who'se technical limitations SHOULD've relegated them to being dungeon crawlers... Weren't actually dungeon crawlers.
Fallout 3 had the BEST dlc
So when you have more technical freedom like with Fallout 3 and onwards, you're not being much of a visionary when you turn the game into a dungeon crawler.
