Verboten books are always amusing to read because they're almost never all that bad. Almost
*I fell asleep reading Marx. Multiple times. Makes me wonder if communism is just some sort of sunk cost pyramid scheme type deal*
reeeeeeeeeeeeeepost!
No it's not
You can clearly see the progress
I meant the character, not the pic
I started out trying to draw Toph from avatar
Then stopped caring
I got the chin wrong so many times I just drew a scarf
Wew
Makes me think ps1 JRPG/TRPG
Like Breath of Fire or FFT
Draw robots' holy crow humans have a ego of themselves
Oh, it might be the scarf and the face making me think of Teepo and then the hair making me think of something else
Speaking of games, I have an irresistible urge to play dead rising 2
Because I finished watching dawn of the dead
Why not DR1?
Also I still need to watch those
And lightsabres
NoFrank, nothank :^)
Also RIP Capcom Vancouver
If you wanna watch the romero movies, stay far away from the remakes
All of them suck
That was the plan
I don't generally watch remakes
It's weird, modern movies have so much more gore and blood, but 80s movies with practical effects are still more effective
Closest I get is watching western adaptations of Kurosawa films, because those were actually good
There's a scene in dawn when a guy gets torn apart by zombies, and you can see the guts spilling
And yeah, because a physical thing is creepier than a big CGI goblin
That 50 second scene was way more terrifying than the entire saw franchise
One of the reasons why I go back and watch Blade Runner, despite it kind if being a bad adaptation, while only superficially straying away from adaptation territory
I first saw blade runner as a movie, and the cinematography is just incredible
The city looks so real
The sets and practical effects are 👌
I'm glad I didn't see theatrical
The new one wasn't bad, but old blade runner is a masterpiece
Just the last two cuts. I didn't bother with 2049. Entirely unnecessary movie
Same attitude as w/ Star Wars. The story was finished. Time for the next thing
