i have a desktop Linux computer...I did not know I had a microphone...oh well...

really don't know...had this unit built and there was no mic included in the build

took a while, when I rebooted there was an update that I installed...it was a Discord voice update...don't know that it will help...I have my system hooked up to a set of Altec-Lansing speakers...I'm sure that they are the reason that I light up, just that I need to phsically attach a microphone to be heard...the card is capable, but everything runs throug the speakers now...untill I add the input method there will be no voice from me. I dug around...I bought a headset with a mic about a year or so ago, but now I need to get the proper cableing. I'm going to go to "HYPER" website and find out the size of the input calbles...my 3.5 mm cables work on the card plug, but fall out of the headphone jack hole...hope you get this...I will return when I figure out my next step. Peace...✌️
