@CyberNecro Biggest mistake conservatives made was abandoning acadamia to the left

I'm starting to believe the Soviet Union really did infiltrate the Western institutions as their biggest KGB operation XD

2018-12-08 20:31:13 UTC

they just didn't envision the Soviet Union collapsing before the fruits were realised

2018-12-08 20:31:40 UTC

I mean if the Soviet Union was still in place, we'd all be joining up immediately right?

2018-12-08 20:32:00 UTC

no

2018-12-08 20:33:00 UTC

You can say no, but the 2nd biggest party here is now openly Socialist...

2018-12-08 20:33:08 UTC

@Pondo looks like a lab mix really, a lot of labs look fat due to how their chests are shaped. Add in a short leg body fron whatever he is mixed with (daucshound?) and labs can look really fat

2018-12-08 20:33:39 UTC

it's a Shiba

2018-12-08 20:33:59 UTC

our Shadow Chancellor wants to overthrow capitalism as a current policy :S

2018-12-08 20:34:12 UTC

and they have about a 40% chance of being elected right now

2018-12-08 20:34:30 UTC

how is this a thing in 2018

2018-12-08 20:34:48 UTC

we really fucked up

2018-12-08 20:35:15 UTC

someone fucked up big time

2018-12-08 20:35:23 UTC

I think they're now desperately trying to wash their hands of it

2018-12-08 20:35:25 UTC

we allowed this

2018-12-08 20:35:38 UTC

2008 Financial crash was the key point for the UK

2018-12-08 20:35:51 UTC

however, unpopularly, I'll state 2008 didn't cause it, 2008 just accelerated it

2018-12-08 20:35:55 UTC

are you talking about UK, Germany or US

2018-12-08 20:35:58 UTC

UK

2018-12-08 20:36:01 UTC

im confuzzled

2018-12-08 20:36:03 UTC

oh

2018-12-08 20:36:20 UTC

we had a rather Marxist government, but understood the need for market support

2018-12-08 20:36:26 UTC

you know the old saying "if you can, do; if you can't, teach"

2018-12-08 20:36:28 UTC

however they were very creative with teh accounts

2018-12-08 20:36:36 UTC

and if you can't teach, get into politics?

2018-12-08 20:37:03 UTC

if you can't teach, burn the whole operation down

2018-12-08 20:37:13 UTC

🇫🇷

2018-12-08 20:39:05 UTC

We do know that in the 30s the Soviet was teaching american intellectuals at Moscow's university. There was also a large group of wealthy intellectual black Americans that went there for school in the 30s @MikeRox

2018-12-08 20:39:28 UTC

Then they came back to teach

2018-12-08 20:39:42 UTC

so the UK was spend spend spend, shiny new schools, shiny new hospitals, everyone happy with their wonderful new infrastructure. But spending way beyond means, and back loading the financial burden. Then 2008 happens, oh crud we need to bail out the banks, deficit spirals.

2010 Saint David of Cameron marches in on his bright white horse and his chief advisor Gideon Osbourne. Well the problems are we've been spending too much, and we need to spend less.

2018... "cuts" have gone on, and on, and still we spend more than we bring in via tax receipts. However after 8 years, and a noticeable impact on front line services, Saint Jezza Corbyn comes in promising free everything, because it's the elites that have stolen everything.

This is my warped simplistic view, but seems to make the most sense as to why we are so openly entertaining a return to socialism.

2018-12-08 20:39:54 UTC

There was also a group of Marxists from Germany and France that came to US in the middle of 20th century 🤔

2018-12-08 20:42:18 UTC

@Coochie coo terrifying really. Funny how it's always the middle classes that know what's best for the poor/working class.

2018-12-08 20:44:13 UTC

Seems like it
