I thought the towers were built as shell frames and not a spine frame, where instead of a pillar in the center that held the weight it was instead spread out along the outside. making for a stronger frame and also one that would have tipped over naturally

unless all the pillars on the single floor are damaged equally at the same time there would be tipping, and that would make it impossible for a clean straight fall down

if it was made weaker from the temp, it would have tilted and slid off
