Well he's not 'Bill Nye the Scientist' for good reason. Nye's been an asshole for a long time, it's just that it was harder for people to learn before everyone was on the internet as they are today

He couldn't say the rate at which climate change would be without human involvement yet he was willing to say anyone denying human involvement in climate change should be locked up

You should see his stand up from before he had his kid's show. It was bad.

I feel he's an ideolog, but that's not a propogandist per say.

Gender as a social construct is fungible. Sex isn't.

The problem is that those two things aren't clearly defined.

But he certainly is more of an influencer than a real scientist or even someone fairly good with logic

Because he's not a scientist. He doesn't have a science degree. He's a mechanical engineer.

So if you were to say he's a propogandist because he's only showing one side of an argument, or he has an agenda I would agree.

To say someone with different ideas on a matter who is simply asking questions about supposedly established fact should be locked up, that is not logical at all

Have a real scientist do real science facts, not this quack

For example I believe in a universe and solar system et.al. But when I ask about proofs of it and cite counter arguments from flat Earthers I am labeled a nutjob

Most real scientists are bad at being performers, so there is some value in having non-scientists doing PR for science. Just not in having Nye do it.

Shows he doesn't check his own side has hypocrites

It shows ultimately he is on a payroll. Or that he is not as bright as thought

You can be smart but lack the wisdom to look past your ego and consider that you may be wrong, or that the plebs are worthy of having things explained to them rather than brushing their questions to the side.
