@INNYGMATYK yeah tell me what you think, I hope you enjoy it. Was like finding a gem whenever I was big into cyberpunk literature back then. Stuff like neuromancer, burning chrome, and mona lisa overdrive, are also good books by william Gibson if you like that stuff. That dude wrote about the internet back in the early 80s before it even came out. Alot of that book(s) seem to forsee our future.
Hell that's where my logo is from is neuromancer. The main character casey.
YO NEUROMANCER I'VE HEARD GOOD SHIT ON
doomer alert
@NotInportant
> discussing dystopian literature and media
we might be in the wrong channel - but no one's killing themself tonight.
Still doomer
It's not a doomer novel @NotInportant
Or is any of this doomer. If anything is coomer for books
@NotInportant Right - but "" warning "" people about it like we're going against "" the rules "" is a little much when not one of us have outright said anything along the lines of "" it's all fucked - kill yourselves - it's pointless ""
ao kindly gtfo
I guess some people dont want prosthetic gun arms and cyborg waifus
Who need cyborg or android waifus when your decendents in the 2500s will have genetically engineered waifus
Is there a book or literature channel here?

@Aria oof and bur
What if I told you there were parts of Canada unprepared for snow? <:lol:554425196283559938>
Its ice o' clock
ok
so
back in 99, Vancouver started getting snow anually
( see : *San Francisco North* )
and typically, whenever we / they got that first dump of the year, the whole fucking city shuts down.
The FIRST time it happened
they didn't have and / or could not operate enough plowtrucks / grators in time
there are / were a bunch of cities on the West coast that had, until 2001 pretty much, never seen any substantial snowfall
