It has spall coating
But i know thay isnt fool proof
I mean at Richmond I was rocking ghetto rigged 3/8s steel plates, torch cut to E/SAPI style, and truckbed limer as anti spall
Im just poor as fuck and refuse to spend 1k on a great setup
Lmao nice
Clocked in at 12lbs a plate lmao
Truckbed liner
Oof
Ooof
So you can see where the spall went
While it wasted your arteries
The chainmail i used in Renaissance stuff was about 35 pounds
I dont think the carrier i got has a pouch for side plates :(
It was just a basic carrier and 2 plates but its hard to beat professionally made armor for 100$
I mean I'm glad I didnt need to do a field test with it. But I'll take a chance of spall than a round tearing through me. But I am buying hoplite lvl 4 cerams soon
Yeah man id like some lv4 plates but im just cheap
Gonna try to score some esapi plates near me
It be like that. Just improve over time king
JUsT aS gOOd
Jk jk
Im the same way, its all i could afford rn
Got my ACH for 60 out here
I mean I jumped at the other ar500 deal around christmas, so I'm one to talk
Hell yeah. All I need is nods
And a personal loan to finance the 2k purchase
*doesnt even have a starter rifle
Yeah man same
Lmao
Palmetto all day bruh
Thats what im gonna do
One day ill shoot that fucking helmet to see if it would save me
Its old
I mean it only works once or so
So even if it worked, its useless.
Its like cops who are either retarded or fucking with the rookies and telling them to make sure their vest works by tying it to a tree and shooting it a few times
Im guessing the "best setup" armor wise would be; level 4 plates w/sides, HASP shoulder plates, modern helmet w/nods
You gotta balance weight, maneuverability, and protection
No shoulder plates. We aint juggernauts
Lol
They are cool though
