yeah well the "i dont server dirty n*ggers" sign outside will land you jail time
Okay that is true
Hmm
maybe you can think thats a gulag but i argue its a price for living in civil society
Not necessarily
It will put you in jail if you actually dont serve them
which is the opposite of a gulag
@JULZIFICATOR so to summerize what you said. If you don't explicitly state what your are not willing to do beforehand, if it can be argued in a twisted what what violates those restrictions, if the state doesn't think your reason for not working is not acceptable then you should face state sponsored (including jail) consequences
@xorgy look for magnetic levitation fan
I just want to own a bar with a sign that says "No dogs or Irish"
quiet and long lasting
ain't this a free country
everyone gets shitty contracts
I saw a "We dont serve republicans" sign
No they dont
You only sign a contract voluntarily
yes you do
but alas
If you want to force contract law between businesses and governments on what labor they are required to do, that is tipping towards authoritarianism
youre one fo the parties determining the terms of said contract
"I do what I want"
why would every business not just sign that
the state is what determines the enforcement and terms of said contract... at gunpoint
too easy to get fucked over 😛
How would you get fucked over
you literally have all the freedom you did before
well if the terms for both sides are "i do what i want"
then they can not pay you
No
The contract is
Business: I do what I want
Customer: I sign a separate contract for each transaction
and have different legal obligations
okay i see
@JULZIFICATOR and you can make them pay you in advance for work you never do as well. Both of which are handled in civil court through lawsuits
what is going on herre
im just makign the point that beign forced through court to do a contract you dont want to do
its not slavery
if said discrimination law
(well in this case the civil suit)
