@Pondo my slav buddy came to Canada, lived here for years, and then became convinced that, as everyone is smiling too much, they must all be on amphetamine
he moved back to Romania
yeah, lol, we have such a problem
with smiling people
it is unhealthy, how much slavic people hate happiness.
it is indescribable
u could often hear `it's all fake, man, i've missed the soul and truth in people`
hahahaha
yeah
that same shit every time
common core hasn't been rescinded and there is no wall being built on the southern border.. but woohoo weed
lamentation after lamentation
the world isn't shitty enough to be real, in the eyes of the Slav™
and im like `man, they're just genuinely chill folk`
and yeah, it's true in some sense
but come on
life is too short to spend much time, if any, on resentment.
slav needs some lvl of struggle in his life, not like his home country lvl, but some lvl
Honestly, maybe slavs should have mandatory service
im like this too, a bit, couldnt live in australia, too chill and relaxed lol
maybe as a security or police force
Guard the medical facilities in the Congo
we're good doctors
then they can suffer for something real
of course, it is not my place to impose such a thing
our medical schools are like the last good thing about ex-usssr education
yeah
and maybe tech schools
but... debatable
No entrepreneurs available
my buddy tried to hire me over to his employer in Romania
because they are desperate for self-starting people
but it is so bureaucratic, they don't realize (or perhaps don't sufficiently care) that they are sabotaging any effort they make to hire fresh people, when they apply their bureaucratic standards to those people.
in my home country, as i mentioned, Belarus, there are plenty, actually, but its very hard to do business there. I've tried and moved out, cause its fucking devastating.
the funny thing is
there is money, at least in *some* of the institutions
they were offering me.... a lot of money
but they *still* couldn't overcome the bureaucracy.
yeah, and corruption. it was easier for me to learn spanish, english, travel bunch of countries and do it here, than back home lol
You know what I think is a sign of a broken culture?
