but if I become rich I don't want to be penalized
the idea is that the ultra wealthy do not need most of their money to still be rich comparatively
that is very basic
the point is that the ultra wealthy have an exorbitant about of wealth
to where it is actually destabalizing
ergo if they are taxed higher they are still rich comparatively and everyone benefits
those reasons are what they will use to gain sympathy for higher taxes
@Misomania true man its a paradox
however, how you spend that money is a different subject
I mostly care that the rich usually use a lot of loop jokes
because once the ultra rich can't be blamed, then they will find another reason to raise taxes on someone
how so
Though I’m certain that the amount of money a billionaire has is probably less fluid then we normally believe
there is always a scapegoat
@EndangeredProdigy they dont stop with the Romanoves eh?
why the hell are random channels added to my twitch following list?
that's like when I get auto-follows for facebook people
no one has been logging into my account and nothing is linked to it
finding random shit on my feed
only to learn I've been automatically subbed to some fucker
i'm just kinda shocked that right leaning people tend to be mostly poor or hard-working americans, but they defend the ultra wealthy who tend to get their money through exploitation and manipulation
at the same time, the rich on the left secretly want to spend less on taxes
I think it's more that they just hate government more
but they defend the ultra rich
Everyone wants to be rich and thinks they will be at somepoint
^
this comes down to the lottery fallacy
maybe if I spend a dollar a day on the lottery I'll be super rich
Doesnt matter if its a fallacy or not, people believe it
hey, we should all spend money at the lottery
it's not that hard to make a lot of money
actually that is the point of it being a fallacy
holy fuck
you just have to be willing to put in the work
did you just say
I think of it as an extreme version of the american dream
it is not hard to become a rich person
it's not
did you just say that
yes
i officially disregard your opinions
