Nuclear Navy. Not a single accident since it started

2019-01-31 19:32:59 UTC

Paris has had nuclear for years

2019-01-31 19:33:07 UTC

Cool, have a Geiger counter?

2019-01-31 19:33:07 UTC

Hasn't it?

2019-01-31 19:33:07 UTC

Its expensive to do right

2019-01-31 19:33:20 UTC

If that's over 100msv you're not doing yourself any favours

2019-01-31 19:33:21 UTC

WHich is why companies screw up

2019-01-31 19:33:39 UTC

That's not the meme

2019-01-31 19:33:51 UTC

Anyone have the meme

2019-01-31 19:33:58 UTC

I can't find the meme

2019-01-31 19:34:10 UTC

Nuclear Navy doesnt use sieverts. We use CPM for contamination and REM for exposure

2019-01-31 19:34:27 UTC

Much more accurate and easier to convert

2019-01-31 19:34:46 UTC
2019-01-31 19:34:48 UTC

best meme

2019-01-31 19:35:00 UTC

immigration crisis is basically this

2019-01-31 19:35:18 UTC

Point is, I used to have a Geiger counter and would get 30-50 msv passing the medical district, I can only imagine what you get working with uranium or thorium

2019-01-31 19:35:33 UTC

Basically nothing, because shielding

2019-01-31 19:36:02 UTC

@.Not Sean only wilful neets don't think this is an issue, even foreigners complain about working with foreigners (on that note, the glass door reviews at my company are hilarious)

2019-01-31 19:36:13 UTC

And background radiation can vary wildly due to ground rock types and ozone levels

2019-01-31 19:36:32 UTC

If your bedrock is granite youll have higher readings due to Radon daughters

2019-01-31 19:36:32 UTC

Point is normal is like 0.1msv

2019-01-31 19:36:34 UTC

Obviously it's a serious issue

2019-01-31 19:36:42 UTC

but that episode is still funny

2019-01-31 19:36:50 UTC

Took all The Jerbs

2019-01-31 19:36:53 UTC

2019-01-31 19:37:01 UTC

2019-01-31 19:37:19 UTC

They literally did take all the jobs

2019-01-31 19:37:25 UTC

Jerbs*

2019-01-31 19:37:29 UTC

It literally happened

2019-01-31 19:37:35 UTC

And small dose less than 300 mSv is completely neglible

2019-01-31 19:37:40 UTC

No

2019-01-31 19:37:56 UTC

100msv for a prolonged period of time will give you a very shitty rest of the day

2019-01-31 19:38:06 UTC

🤔 💩

2019-01-31 19:38:27 UTC

Hahaha no it doesnt thats less than what pilots get on a transartic route

2019-01-31 19:38:38 UTC

and is alpha, beta, or gamma readings?

2019-01-31 19:38:45 UTC

Gamma I assume

2019-01-31 19:38:56 UTC

🐹

2019-01-31 19:39:13 UTC

Gamma is the least likely to harm you. Nuetron or beta is where you get the major effects.

2019-01-31 19:39:33 UTC

Alpha will mess lungs if inhaled but thats also rare
