I voted for him reluctantly in 2016, definitely will feel better about it in 2020
kinda bad that he deny global warming
thats another bad thing about him
also he tends to say a lot of fake shit like the whole california fire thing
but oh well no one can be perfect
He was half right with California. The fires are getting worse because of the "No Forrest Fires" pollicy that has been in effect for a century
yeah but he kinda missed the point a half truth is a lie
also california does suck with planning
they dont want to do something regarding the whole "Sea level rising"
That wasn't CA's bad planning. That was the Fed's with the Forrest fires.
Oh shit really?
Global warming is so politicized that a lot of right wing people feel like there isn't a position of, "I agree with the concept, I'm just not sure the prescription is correct" that they can take
yep mostly politics are like that
you disagree with something because the other party agrees with it
thats why the left sucks at economics
US Forestry Service has a whole "No Forrest Fires" deal where they try to prevent forest fires, but the problem then becomes there is nothing to clean out all the under brush so it makes it worse when the fires happen
and the right at social planning and science
i think healthy trees actually prevent fires
The center is the answer
Some of the trees don't release their seeds until a fire happens so that doesn't help either
you see the trees actually have a good quality
they cant burn if they are healthy
People need to stop building houses where they're bound to be destroyed in a few years
so they make a hard barrier from forest fires
Fires can jump barriers
or maybe contract someone that knows what they are doing
yep but a healthy tree does help a lot
also the houses are shitty quality
i have seen that those that burn are plank houses
not solid robust ones
bricks help too
The forrest fires are complex. I studied this in college.
sure i agree with that
it doesnt help that they will become more common in the next years
That is debatable. There are a bunch of things we can do to reduce them and none of them involve climate change
Yep
For one thing we can have more small fires and that will help reduce the size and scale of fires
By burning the "fuel" right?
Yeah, the small fires clear out the underbrush used as fuel and make fertilizer.
Then we can plant more trees as well.
