I heard a roumor that an ISP in India auto subscribed people to T-series when they got the internet, was there any truth to that?
that is somewhat true, though that wasn't a big ISP IIRC
the bigger portion comes from suggested starting subscriptions
YouTube AFAIK encourages people who sign up in India to subscribe to some list of starting channels.
