Ok. How often is that?
@Mr. Jesus No. You've got it exactly right. Languages have their strengths. No reason not to use .NET or WinForms for quick GUIs. You pick the language which fits the project. Why would I choose C for managing Web servers when Python is more efficient. I used to use a lot of Java for web development but I think it is rapidly becoming superflouous.
That's my point. It's not an OS feature.
right, but it's the practical reason
doesn't matter if linux is better if it doesn't work better.
I remember when ubuntu was good 🤣 damn I feel old
7.04 i think was the first one I used 🤔
@Unwound Trust that feeling.😁
😔 i remember how excited I was to get those cube workspaces with compiz
Oh yeah. I remember that nonsense.
now I can't even get a new phone and be excited 😔
y u getting new phone?
To be spied on more?
literally no fucking reason. damn... you are right.
it's not really spying if they already know about it
more like voyeurism
nah, u can knowingly be spied on.
that's more exihibitionism
heck, every time you leave your house, you are knowingly being spied on.
well, if you live in a city...
spying in the sense of spying on someone
nope. I think its intent must be hidden, by design and not in practice
@Paradox it comes back to open source software and it being more eco to build. when software changes then linux can win. but unitl then people will be inprisoned to DRM games and spyware adware in their paid progs
what im saying is windows dev, like the oS
no one is doing it anymore.. they deleted peoples files just recently
Well, now that i've sirred the pot, i'm going to disappear for an hour or two.
*its what i do*
people make programs, sure windows still has like REact js etc.. many new cross platform

@Paradox well that is windows 10 for sure. they send copies of private keys to their own stuff
>so it's not spying
And it doesn't need to be a secret
obviously the only defintions that apply are the secret ones
@Paradox Yes. Secretly is the key difference. There is nothing secret about it, the cameras hang on posts.
See 2 and 3
2 doesn't apply
don't be obtuse
its a completely different use of the word
