See I wanted to argue something interesting like should "illegal" drugs be legal and if so should people who rely upon public assistance, i.e. taxpayer's money, be allowed to use them. But that's ok. We had a fine argument over semantics.
meh, drugs being legal is boring conversation
What about legalizing prositution
y not.
Or legalizing gambling
boring.
sure.
boring.
@Graylan | gray00 What you said is not exactly true. If you are convicted of tax evasion you still must pay the taxes, penalties and interest even if you are imprisoned.
One week a year purge ? @Paradox
what's that mean?
The purge it's a popular film
Was joking..
Oh, I would disagree with that, that is actually one function of the government.
@CasualSailor nah cuz John mcaffee didn't.
however, we come pretty close, abortion on demand.
You can revoke citizenship and simply go to non extradition country.
It only cost 200k to do so.
If you owe more than 200k
Well there u go
And now they don't have fucking shit.
@Graylan | gray00 I'm not familiar with his case. But I do know that you cannot simply go to jail INSTEAD of paying the taxes. When you are released your tax bill with interest will be awaiting you.
Not a single cent has ver paid.
Google Roger ver
He's world famous
Called Bitcoin Jesus
He has videos where he talks about it a lot
y does it cost 200k? Seems like revoking citizenship would be a right of every citizen.
Well you have to go to another county and become a citizen there to do it
Are you saying the gov't agreed that he didn't owe the taxes or that he found a way to prevent them from collecting? I think that is different from simply saying if you are imprisoned for tax evasion that you don't owe the tax. or as you said, you pay the tax with imprisonment.
Else ur still usa citizen
And ur fucked.
No he still owes and john mcaffee does too. They even give him a hard time at the USA border. Cuz they are pissed he fucked them lol
Ver came up on like 600 million USD and didn't pay shit.
Ok. Well that was all I was saying. If you are imprisoned for tax evasion you still owe the taxes.
He's on steem with like 20k invested or so
Nah he wasn't imprisoned and he doesn't owe anymore
Ya, well, when I make that much, I'll keep that in mind.
@Paradox depending what coins u hold could be not too hard to come up that big.
I'm not too eager to go google ways to avoid paying taxes. The U.S. gov't has a way of using facts like that to prove you intended to do so when perhaps you just made a mistake.
