2019-02-21 05:39:03 UTC

2019-02-21 05:39:11 UTC

Sure buddy

2019-02-21 05:39:27 UTC

so can't someone be good an evil?

2019-02-21 05:39:31 UTC

You're probably an ethnic Japanese Colorado stoner

2019-02-21 05:39:38 UTC
2019-02-21 05:39:43 UTC

Aren't most ppl?

2019-02-21 05:39:44 UTC
2019-02-21 05:39:49 UTC

I was speaking generally

2019-02-21 05:40:05 UTC

Anyway free will explains imperfect nature

2019-02-21 05:40:08 UTC

Only a sith deals in absolutes

2019-02-21 05:40:21 UTC

You can't be good and evil at the same time. Morality is measured as an integer value.

2019-02-21 05:40:22 UTC

well for a second i thought u guys were assuming my morality.

2019-02-21 05:40:22 UTC

Also, apparently China done paid reddit a whole bunch of money to censor photos of the Tiananmen square massacre

2019-02-21 05:40:38 UTC

I've played Fallout 2. So it's confirmed.

2019-02-21 05:40:39 UTC

I'm guessing I'm not the only philosophy major here

2019-02-21 05:40:47 UTC

Reddit took about $150 million in kickbacks from a Chinese censorship company, so it seemed reasonable to remind people of Tienanmen Square how how the Chinese government is probably one of the worst governments since Stalin and Pol Pot. These pictures are an important part of human history, and deserve more exposure.

2019-02-21 05:40:48 UTC

what r philosophy?

2019-02-21 05:40:53 UTC
2019-02-21 05:40:57 UTC

and y u go to school for it?

2019-02-21 05:41:00 UTC

Assuming free will exists

2019-02-21 05:41:00 UTC

I'd post the photos, but they're gory

2019-02-21 05:41:06 UTC

So I'll grab the link

2019-02-21 05:41:27 UTC

@taekahn I believe in astrology, so that involves fate. But I also believe in free will

2019-02-21 05:41:32 UTC

So that's the thing

2019-02-21 05:41:36 UTC

Fate and free will can coexist

2019-02-21 05:41:48 UTC

Pathological altruism isn't inherently good

2019-02-21 05:41:52 UTC

It can be bad

2019-02-21 05:42:03 UTC

What defines good, and what defines evil?

2019-02-21 05:42:11 UTC

Murdering someone can be either

2019-02-21 05:42:12 UTC

@Gilgamesh To what extend does your free will exist?

2019-02-21 05:42:14 UTC

@Blonald Blumph logic and compassion combined

2019-02-21 05:42:19 UTC

Nah

2019-02-21 05:42:21 UTC

Its just another one of those things that is impossible to prove one way or another

2019-02-21 05:42:25 UTC

@Malt_Hitman choice among things that are fated

2019-02-21 05:42:27 UTC

Compassion can lead to genocide

2019-02-21 05:42:29 UTC

Do you have the free will to choose what happens after you die?

2019-02-21 05:42:34 UTC

OH SHIT

2019-02-21 05:42:46 UTC

@King Canuck yeah I saw
