and I don't think it proves that, it does prove that

2020-01-13 15:40:16 UTC

It doesn't form from nothing though

2020-01-13 15:41:36 UTC

All the miller-urey experiment proves is that if you put certain chemicals in the certain way you can make certain elements form

2020-01-13 15:41:55 UTC

Yeah

2020-01-13 15:42:00 UTC

It is all based on the idea that it was like this in the early days of Earth before life was said to exist

2020-01-13 15:42:11 UTC

Yes

2020-01-13 15:42:15 UTC

It isn't a KO to creationism

2020-01-13 15:43:05 UTC

I'm not saying it is, but it's an experiment I could think of because I was asked

2020-01-13 15:44:13 UTC

Oh alright

2020-01-13 15:44:35 UTC

But I'm curious, do you believe that a creationist story similar to the one in the Bible created everything

2020-01-13 15:45:09 UTC

Does it have to be?

2020-01-13 15:45:15 UTC

Not every creationist believes in the bible

2020-01-13 15:45:42 UTC

I just gave the biblical story as an example

2020-01-13 15:45:46 UTC

I never said all creationists did

2020-01-13 15:46:18 UTC

I'm going to take a guess and say you're an atheist yourself?

2020-01-13 15:46:55 UTC

Christian Orthodox

2020-01-13 15:47:05 UTC

Oh yeah?

2020-01-13 15:47:09 UTC

Interesting

2020-01-13 15:47:13 UTC

yeah I enjoy the traditions and my family are

2020-01-13 15:47:59 UTC

Do you believe God created everything as well?

2020-01-13 15:48:02 UTC

No

2020-01-13 15:48:22 UTC

You don't believe in the bible?

2020-01-13 15:49:27 UTC

thats a very vague question

2020-01-13 15:49:56 UTC

How so?

2020-01-13 15:50:04 UTC

It is a very direct question

2020-01-13 15:50:34 UTC

Then no

2020-01-13 15:51:15 UTC

And you claim yourself to be a Christian because the traditions written in the bible but don't believe in the bible or God?

2020-01-13 15:51:30 UTC

<:confused:625494374402228244>

2020-01-13 15:52:16 UTC

In my opinion you don't have to believe holy books to be apart of a religion, as I said I enjoy it more for the traditional aspect of it as opposed to the worship part

2020-01-13 15:52:25 UTC

akin to how a watch is passed down from a father to son I suppose

2020-01-13 15:52:38 UTC

poor analogy but you can see where I'm getting

2020-01-13 15:53:10 UTC

It is a poor analogy because it doesn't make you a Chirstian

2020-01-13 15:53:23 UTC

sorry who are you to dictate what religion I am

2020-01-13 15:53:28 UTC

It just makes you someone who follows the Christian traditions

2020-01-13 15:53:34 UTC

I'm basing this off of what you said

2020-01-13 15:53:44 UTC

Many people hold Christian values but aren't Christian

2020-01-13 15:54:27 UTC

You don't believe in the bible, you don't believe in God but you want to delude yourself into thinking you're Christian

2020-01-13 15:54:32 UTC

It doesn't work like that

2020-01-13 15:54:37 UTC

well I did receive baptism so even if I carried out no Christian traditions and that then by definition I still would be christian

2020-01-13 15:54:49 UTC

delude is a very strong word?

2020-01-13 15:55:15 UTC

and you're remarkable at evading my first question, do you believe in the parable of creationism?
