Yes I enjoy some sports like fencing, hiking, skiing, and horse riding
But the excercise culture we have today is not about that

If you ski properly you’ll legs will get soar real quickly
Same with horse riding
Just maintain the right position on a horse while he is running can get heavy on the legs
