Ah ok

2020-02-29 01:47:28 UTC

What about scorpions?

2020-02-29 05:21:24 UTC

scorpion is a great source of protein, but only 2g of fat on average per one. given it's saturated fat tho, it's not really the *healthy* fat, which would be monosaturated fat. 25g of protein per scorpion though, so hey, that's good eating

2020-02-29 05:22:25 UTC

saturated fat is good

2020-02-29 05:25:36 UTC

is it? maybe i have it mixed up with one of the other kinds of fats. The only one i know consistently is monosaturated is good, helps heart health and cholesterol.

2020-02-29 05:28:19 UTC

https://www.hsph.harvard.edu/nutritionsource/what-should-you-eat/fats-and-cholesterol/types-of-fat/ though this seems to disagree. Says here while it's not as bad as once thought, it's suggested you have less than 10% of calories from saturated fats a day, to help avoid health issues.

2020-02-29 05:28:20 UTC

you mean monoUNsaturated

2020-02-29 05:28:35 UTC

yes that, sorry for the typo

2020-02-29 05:28:41 UTC

Hahahhaahhahaha

2020-02-29 23:15:24 UTC

Have you seen animals get slaughtered

2020-02-29 23:15:32 UTC

No they dont call for their mom

2020-02-29 23:15:53 UTC

They are actually calm till the moment you slit the throat

2020-02-29 23:15:58 UTC

So stop spreading propaganda

2020-03-01 00:12:54 UTC

Slaughterhouses are cool ngl I got a tour of one once

2020-03-01 00:13:14 UTC

Slaughterhouses ive seen dont slit the throat. They lead the cow to a stall, lock there head in, then shoot a bolt quickly in and then out of the brain using hydraulics, killing them instantly. The noises the cows make while being lead there feels like they know

2020-03-01 00:13:35 UTC

Thats a cool new way

2020-03-01 00:14:13 UTC

Wouldnt say its cool. But its atleast humane

2020-03-01 00:14:30 UTC

Not a new way

2020-03-01 00:14:43 UTC

I saw that 30 years ago

2020-03-01 00:15:12 UTC

Ah then I guess my local one is slow at changing the way they do it

2020-03-01 00:15:16 UTC

They still use knives

2020-03-01 00:15:34 UTC

I didnt see a slaughter house but i watched the slaughter process a million times when i buy directly from the farm

2020-03-01 00:15:36 UTC

Thats prolly a religious slaughterhouse

2020-03-01 00:15:41 UTC

They dont have fancy guns there

2020-03-01 00:15:46 UTC

Just a knife

2020-03-01 00:16:25 UTC

I've seen it happen with an axe before too

2020-03-01 00:17:05 UTC

Ive seen a samurai sword butcher. Pets the cow and feeds it then one swoop and the head comes off the front knees buckle and it slowly falls forward

2020-03-01 00:17:15 UTC

Amazing

2020-03-01 00:17:36 UTC

The aninal should be calm
