how is that evidence

you simulate that with any mass on a string:
swing the mass around above your head, and the faster it goes, the harder its pulled outwards

and the string is the "gravity" and keeps the mass from flying away

if you have a big cloud of dust and gas, and that collapses under its own gravity, it will form a ball, because that is the most stable shape for gravity

I've seen satellites and the ISS flying over, with the naked eye, I think that should be enough (for me at least) to confirm that there can be things orbiting around the earth

We're fully conversant with these explanations, but they only work on children
