scientists who express opposing views usually are not seeking any alternative motives such as money or fame. in fact they put a lot on the line by speaking out

2019-12-24 04:58:52 UTC

Most of those scientists thought at one point we are the center of the universe

2019-12-24 04:59:26 UTC

that is the reason why its always good to hear out the minority who can loose jobs or licenses for trying to speak what they believe is the truth

2019-12-24 05:00:06 UTC

Well it doesn’t really matter what they think. A scientist is is someone who conducts scientific research to advance knowledge in an area of interest.

2019-12-24 05:00:43 UTC

Anyone can be a scientist. Those people are just famously know as scientists because of their amazing findings

2019-12-24 05:00:49 UTC

indeed

2019-12-24 05:01:32 UTC

well ya the thing is, with controversial topics you wont believe how much of the scientific research that does not match the narrative is unpublished and thrown away

2019-12-24 05:02:42 UTC

no scientist or institute is required to publish the research and results they find. they have the full right to perform 10 studies, burn 9 which did not deliver the desired results and publish the 1 which did

2019-12-24 05:03:23 UTC

well studies that are wrong are often published and then disproven

2019-12-24 05:03:33 UTC

it depends

2019-12-24 05:03:37 UTC

it is not that simple

2019-12-24 05:04:07 UTC

every properly conducted study requires a massive amounts of fundings

2019-12-24 05:04:27 UTC

yes, that's science

2019-12-24 05:04:31 UTC

which you can only find from big industries or governments

2019-12-24 05:04:55 UTC

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand you had to ruin it

2019-12-24 05:05:05 UTC

ruin it?

2019-12-24 05:05:14 UTC

what does that mean

2019-12-24 05:05:59 UTC

proof that you can only get a large amount of evidence from big industries or governments, please?

2019-12-24 05:06:33 UTC

go read studies

2019-12-24 05:06:39 UTC

and look at who funded them

2019-12-24 05:06:40 UTC

which ones

2019-12-24 05:06:55 UTC

eeinstien wasn't funded

2019-12-24 05:07:06 UTC

in USA alone for example almost 50 percent of the studies are government funded

2019-12-24 05:07:13 UTC

then think about all the others

2019-12-24 05:07:20 UTC

einstien wasn't funded

2019-12-24 05:07:46 UTC

im talking about today

2019-12-24 05:08:20 UTC

even today

2019-12-24 05:09:15 UTC

nah today majority of studies require large fundings

2019-12-24 05:09:29 UTC

23% of studies aren't funded

2019-12-24 05:09:43 UTC

and thats not a small minority

2019-12-24 05:10:26 UTC

yes that is a minority and those studies without much fundings are using poor methodology

2019-12-24 05:10:38 UTC

usually analyzing and interpeting data

2019-12-24 05:10:43 UTC

not conducting anything really

2019-12-24 05:11:12 UTC

so what are you trying to say

2019-12-24 05:12:09 UTC

what are you trying to prove, ultimately.

2019-12-24 05:12:45 UTC

nevermind

2019-12-24 05:12:57 UTC

i forgot what i tried to point out

2019-12-24 05:13:02 UTC

exactly

2019-12-24 05:14:54 UTC

i believe i meant that main stream research should be taken with high skepticism
