I highly recommend this video.
I'm a normal earth scientist so I believe in the globe
Normal as in what most people on average believe in
"I'll believe in theoretic bullshit rather than empirical proof. I enjoy going where ever the crowd leads me, as I have no actual value of my OWN personal brain, and will GLADLY take the beliefs of the majority as fact. Also, anyone who has a degree is obviously WAY smarter than anyone who doesn't. Clearly... trust me I'm a normal earth scientist"
I'm going to bed now.
Oh thats interesting gandalf
You seem to really dislike other beliefs
I actually do the math and work things out for myself, I did the circle curve calculator equation on the earth and it worked, and matched what most other scientists say, so I think I have the right shape
And gravity would pull the earth into a sphere anyways if it wasnt when it first formed, so it must be now
He cant
The globe argument is inpenatrable without attacking the defender
@GandalfTheGreen in school they teach you to prove the theories - I have done that. I came here to learn about others, not to be insulted for being right. Experience makes intelegence not degrees, but degrees certainly create experience.
Also I read the book "The Gods of Eden" - well the part about a supreme being anyways
Do you think there is one? I don't like believing in things that aren't supported by math and/or intensive observation, so I don't
does anyone have any info on concave earth?
never heard of it til now
I dunno

@Alexxx come here
yeah ok
it is the right thread this one
ok... draw a straight line on a flat earth model and try to get back to your starting point
watch it
no name calling
no ad homs
see rules at the top
if i by a straight line you mean for me to head east and keep the same distance to the north pole, i can do that. its the same on a globe model (except the equator) where all straight lines are actually circles
no, i mean a straight line that a human can walk in without changing direction
thin ice <@!356085459186614273> cool it
what you ask for cant be done except north south on a flat earth
stick to the topics
but how is that conclusive? it is the same issue on a globe model also
no
as one leg is longer then the other you always walk in circles
ok then use a plane
