Problem is, at that height, you’re most definitely supposed to see a convex earth beneath. And a wide angle lens can’t bend a convex surface into the opposing shape concave.

You either have to relinquish that the earth is far larger than what we are told, or that earth’s flat.

We can make convex or concave shapes flat. But not the opposite shapes into eachother with wide angle lenses. That’s just a fact.
