my dear derek, what does this show?

2020-01-17 12:14:07 UTC

They were obviously using a wide angle lens.

2020-01-17 12:14:18 UTC

no derek, there is no evidence

2020-01-17 12:14:28 UTC

apart from mere opinion

2020-01-17 12:14:40 UTC

you realise the earth is quite big?

2020-01-17 12:14:47 UTC

Problem is, at that height, you’re most definitely supposed to see a convex earth beneath. And a wide angle lens can’t bend a convex surface into the opposing shape concave.

2020-01-17 12:14:48 UTC

therfore it takes up the whole screen>

2020-01-17 12:15:15 UTC

thats not how it works

2020-01-17 12:15:25 UTC

That’s definitely how it works.

2020-01-17 12:15:34 UTC

They’re lying. I’m sorry.

2020-01-17 12:16:08 UTC

how come this is the only NASA vid of a "flat earth"

2020-01-17 12:16:09 UTC

You either have to relinquish that the earth is far larger than what we are told, or that earth’s flat.

2020-01-17 12:16:26 UTC

derek can you conceive numbers higher than 10?

2020-01-17 12:16:28 UTC

the earth is big

2020-01-17 12:16:33 UTC

top right image

2020-01-17 12:16:36 UTC

@Bennnnnnnny we all know the globe model

2020-01-17 12:16:46 UTC

yes

2020-01-17 12:16:50 UTC

and then explaing to me that the convex earth and concave lens cancel each other out

2020-01-17 12:16:59 UTC

you dont know what flat earth actually means

2020-01-17 12:17:03 UTC

explain

2020-01-17 12:17:04 UTC

please

2020-01-17 12:17:15 UTC

why do you argue something you dont know anything about?

2020-01-17 12:17:23 UTC

i am supporting my view

2020-01-17 12:17:28 UTC

you may support yours

2020-01-17 12:17:34 UTC

better aproach would be to ask questions and learn something

2020-01-17 12:18:02 UTC

We can make convex or concave shapes flat. But not the opposite shapes into eachother with wide angle lenses. That’s just a fact.

2020-01-17 12:18:19 UTC

anon, you may possibly be illiterate, but the name of the chat is civil debate

2020-01-17 12:18:21 UTC

not question time

2020-01-17 12:18:29 UTC

ok and how come this is the only nasa vid that has this view

2020-01-17 12:19:03 UTC

derek

2020-01-17 12:19:06 UTC

do you understand this

2020-01-17 12:19:08 UTC

if not

2020-01-17 12:19:30 UTC

then you are not worthy to debate me if you do not the science of what you are talking about

2020-01-17 12:19:39 UTC

Want some garlic bread?

@Bennnnnnnny and im asking why are you arguing against something you know nothing about

2020-01-17 12:20:02 UTC

you should at least do some research and be prepared
