the sun circles the *actual* equator

2020-02-18 19:33:06 UTC

I do

2020-02-18 19:33:17 UTC

I don’t understand

2020-02-18 19:33:21 UTC

how is that the 'centre' then?

2020-02-18 19:33:54 UTC

Is the hottest point a line across the flat earth

2020-02-18 19:33:56 UTC

The center

2020-02-18 19:33:59 UTC

Or

2020-02-18 19:34:17 UTC

the hottest point is the equator. just as it is on the globe model.

2020-02-18 19:34:24 UTC

So a line across

2020-02-18 19:34:25 UTC

because the sun circles above it

2020-02-18 19:34:32 UTC

The 'centre' is the North Pole, in the 'centre' of the image, the equator is the middle of the spiral the sun makes.

2020-02-18 19:34:35 UTC

the equator is a circle on that map.

2020-02-18 19:34:57 UTC

think of the flat earth like a monopole with the north pole at the center

2020-02-18 19:35:24 UTC

North Pole in the center of the spiral too?

2020-02-18 19:35:41 UTC

no, as it doesnt move

2020-02-18 19:35:47 UTC

Where’s it

2020-02-18 19:36:01 UTC

2020-02-18 19:36:10 UTC

got it, the centre, the sun spirals above, the earth is stationary

2020-02-18 19:36:38 UTC

So the equator is in the center

2020-02-18 19:36:45 UTC

Sun spins around it

2020-02-18 19:36:49 UTC

stop trolling please

2020-02-18 19:36:53 UTC

??

2020-02-18 19:37:04 UTC

I am trying to understand

2020-02-18 19:37:09 UTC

the sun is moving above our heads in a spiral pattern, the earths stationary

2020-02-18 19:37:45 UTC

I’m only asking where’s the equator

2020-02-18 19:37:53 UTC

The center!

2020-02-18 19:37:57 UTC

Center?*

2020-02-18 19:38:05 UTC

there it is

2020-02-18 19:38:55 UTC

Is it that circle??

2020-02-18 19:38:58 UTC

Gray circle

2020-02-18 19:40:21 UTC

yes, the gray circle. it's the same equator on globe earth...

2020-02-18 19:41:04 UTC

Ok so if that’s the equator

2020-02-18 19:41:13 UTC

The middle and far outside is coldest?

2020-02-18 19:41:35 UTC
2020-02-18 19:42:27 UTC

the sun is close, using basic trig, an not adding in assumptions, so the heat is cooler until right over your head, then cooler again as the sun moves away

You do know how light is bend by the atmosphere right?
