Well you can apply gravity to gas and it will tell you that there must be an exponential decay of pressure with height

I'm not qualified enough in quantum mecanics to say how the molecule interacts with where it reaches the ground

Gravity would probably become negligible compared to electromagnetic forces

But ur qualified to say if we had one oxygen molecule it would fall and stop@moving ?

You think some objects fall in vacuum and not others?

If their was a downward force on gas it would stay down why would the same molecule be forced to go down then back up then sideways. Is their a sideways force ?

Most objects fall in a vacuum oxygen won’t though
