What definition do you guys use for religion, it's obviously much different then mine
There is a reason I said "kinda like a religion" and not "a religion" because flat earth is not a religion although it sometimes looks like it
This is my def
re·li·gion
/rəˈlijən/
Learn to pronounce
noun
the belief in and worship of a superhuman controlling power, especially a personal God or gods.
While flat earth requires one to be religious, it is not in itself a religion
It is like... an add-on to a religion, and optional package

Why does flat earth require one to be religious?
Because there is no natural way the sun could suspend itself in the air with no force keeping it there. No way a flat earth could form by itself from what we know, ect
Florida, even using that definition, we do not worship.
no way Earth could have gases/liquids at the surface in the presence of 1x10^-17torr pressure
esp when molten
You don't need to be religious to believe in a creator
.... you do

so cute 🙂
Ok, perhaps you don't have to worsip, and that's part of the definitoon
While I'm not one of the people to be like "the globe is a religion!"
Yeah this is my point
I do believe it has religious tendencies
The difference is....we have mountains of evidence that Earth's surface is flat
data which anyone can verify by their own experiments
Honestly I use the word religious just to say someone who be lives in a god
But I know I use the word kinda wrong bc it also men's u gotta worship
It's common sense PhD
I think so 🙂
I wonder if there is a better word other then theist
It's obviously flat
but apparently not for some.......for some reason.....
The earth being a plane is an observation
and repeatable
in fact....
Yeah like we see it everyday we know it's flat
I have yet to see evidence of the curve
I think it's obvious there isn't a god, or at least not the god everyone seems to belive in, I think it's common sense that such a god contridicts itself, but for some people....
