we can only measure/observe the surface as flat. no clue what's undernearth

so if you had a flat disc shaped earth it would be pulled under its own gravity into a sphere

explain why you want don't want to hold gravity to the same standard as the scientific method as with all things and will cop out to nothing can be proven and everything is just a theory.
