what does that have to do with it?
Where does the magma come from?
listen
under the surface
Why does it rise?
pressure. like a coke
Where under the surface?
most of time when i come on here i seek a nice constructive discussion about the shape of the earth
however
What makes a volcano appear one place and not another?
i can only seem to get such a conversation on 24/7 mostly level
we don't know yet. when I was a geology major we learned about "Techtonic plate theory"....subduction zones etc..
but all theory
never observed
Well
and not mutually exclusive to flat surfaced earth model
here, on the other hand, is filled with people who like to insult attack people personally which is something i try not to do even when provoked
We know that some areas are increasing in distance from each other
And some are shrinking
Locally measured
even if you trust the data
So we know something is moving
so what?
I trust data I witnessed being collected
so what?
Sounds like plate techtonics
so what?
it's a theory
You said no observations
we have NEVER observed a plate moving under another plate!!!!!!!!
It explains just as much as your sheol model
exactly. it's a model
it doesn't necessarily describe
Models unify
but when the horizon is dead flat at 180,000 feet.....
Yours cant tell me why volcanoes appear along the ring of fire
when lasers are dead flat at 27 miles
that's a direct observation!
I didn't observe it
But I did observe the techtonic stuff
