whats the difference betweening shining and glowing?

what relevance is this

The difrence is that the light source is from the object in the case of glowing
With shining it's reflected

tho sometimes I guess the difrence would be intensity

and not necessarily where the light comes from

so the sun shines and it reflected and the moon glows and therefore its self illuminating
