you have to make sure you're looking from the *exact* center.
yes
I would do that but I am at school so I can't access MS paint
> no, not at all
Well, but you can take an image that points to the exact center, which is easy, and which is why i said its obvious, you said you took it to after effects, thats for video...
it's tough to spot the exact center just by watching the vid
Oh right

@Drewski4343 what was the time you took it from the video?

Imagine if now He Cute#7099 becomes a globe earther
is it possible to do the same with another point where the sun isn't straight on top? because the center is brightly lit while it's hard to asses for the sides
absolutely. Give me a time
that's why I edited the levels so you can see past the glow
You can already see how the light and shadows arent what makes it be curved
it's hard to see the horizons side, it's so dark while the center is so bright
I'll see if I can find another point that lines up
if you find a time, let me know
Lmao also none but in black
Cant quite go back if you dont change the official consensus
sorry for earlier picture, wasn't cropped
i inverted the colors, here's how it looks normal
the red lines on mine are the exact center of the video composition.
I don’t understand why people are trying to see curvature on the horizon, its very hard especially considering the effect of lenses
We should just try to measure the angle between the horizon and a horizontal plane, if the earth is a globe it should be proportionnal to the square of the height and it should be zero if the earth is flat
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G5kRyQStPhU this one should be more accurate with infrared
You're totally right, liks, it's incredibly hard. Especially when you don't know the lens, FOV or focal length.
It's mostly not worth entertaining.
@He Cute I'll take a look at that one
he produces cool videos, check this out if you got time https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z6kshaWFkOw
So is this experiment, FECORE, like a flat earth bible or something?
fecore is a scientific expirement
