Flat Earth killer

2020-01-29 04:41:05 UTC

Which is right?

2020-01-29 04:42:08 UTC

The Globe killer one is right. You’re supposed to observe curve on any sphere. And we never do anywhere on earth.

2020-01-29 04:42:12 UTC

Ok, confirmation bias

2020-01-29 04:42:24 UTC

Mine shows curve

2020-01-29 04:42:31 UTC

Therefore you're wrong

2020-01-29 04:42:47 UTC

I literally can’t see any curve in your picture.

2020-01-29 04:43:30 UTC

I see curve lots of places

1. Horizon drops below eye level with altitude
2. Acccurate headings and distance between objects are possible with a globe shaped map datum
3. Astronomical mounts work based on a globe
4. Heliocentric model perfectly predicts eclipses
5. Mountain peaks in the distance are lower than they'd be on a flat plane
6. Alll satellite tv dishes converge at a point 25,0000 miles up
7. I've literally put a small satellite into orbit and received it's signal.
8. Shadow angles as a function of distance from the equator are consistent with a sphere that measures the same as the Al Biruni method and are impossible on a flat plane with a local sun

Curve everywhere

2020-01-29 04:45:13 UTC

You just showed me a picture of a GoPro at 109,000 feet..

2020-01-29 04:45:28 UTC

But it can be made.to look flat

2020-01-29 04:45:38 UTC

So saying it's flat because it looks flat is fallacious

Coupled with your photo of convex curve at 109,000 feet. We have an impossible scenario for a ball earth.

2020-01-29 04:49:35 UTC

We can make convex and concave horizons seem flat. What we cannot do. Is make convex turn concave, or vice verse.

2020-01-29 04:57:24 UTC

Ya you can

2020-01-29 04:57:56 UTC

GoPro fisheye only distorts away from middle

2020-01-29 04:58:53 UTC

Also I the image with the bridge and mountains, the mountains are literally below where they would be on a flat plane, like the surface is curved downwards

2020-01-29 04:59:17 UTC

@Derek Nelson that image literally proves itself wrong

2020-01-29 04:59:36 UTC

Also what's the fov

2020-01-29 04:59:43 UTC

Take a GoPro, and make a basketball’s convex shape turn concave.

2020-01-29 05:00:06 UTC

Go ahead. I’ll wait. Since you’re claiming it’s possible.

2020-01-29 05:00:27 UTC

Curve proven

2020-01-29 05:00:51 UTC

lensing

2020-01-29 05:00:52 UTC

So you’re evading my challenge? Okay. 👌

2020-01-29 05:01:34 UTC

huwhoops

2020-01-29 05:02:07 UTC

curve not proven xD

2020-01-29 05:03:16 UTC

Do we love flat earth

2020-01-29 05:03:38 UTC

The truth.
