hmm define rock
I meant a normal rock..
You wouldnt really consider coal a rock..
_looks at goalposts again, because clearly rusty isn't a fan of their position._
Lol. REALLY NOW?
Because... it seems like every single geological society ever considers it a rock.
nah. if theres obvious coal infront of me i wouldnt say its a rock because i know its coal
Ah, so the geological context is dependent on the observer.
It has to do with the chemical composition
why does a rock burning mean so much now..
this really seems like a debate
i dont know the definition of ''rock''
damn
Most rock has silicate minerals or metals in them
Hey, @generic discord user Is coal a rock?
Coal is just compressed plant carbon
not legit ness (i think)
i guess so
Debate settled then.
@$amad No more debates bro.
Why are we talking about rocks
why does burning rocks matter
It doesnt..
_shrugs_
coal falling from the sky and destroying windows 😳
Because folks, especially globies, love to move the goalposts to fit whatever perception of reality they are currently infatuated with.
Samad,
Can you explain the smoke trail now please?
May i ask how goal posts were moved?
what even was the argument about coal?
I'm ready for your answser.
Ok
Meteors contain may contain water and ice hence why we see a trail following the meteor its 'tail'
So it's steam, and not smoke?
When these meet the much cooler air they may condense and form a sort of trail
Its like clouds
When you breathe when its realy cold water vapour condenses so you see it like 'smoke'
Its a similar concept
So your claim, is that the trail is merely water vapor?
I'm actually more interested in the physical nature of the design of the trail, rather than it's composition.
