Explain
Depends on how you define ‘god’
romans and greeks had many gods
@DorgonIzFly What do you consider a god?
he didn't believe in many gods.
problem deals with human beings themselves. It is true that all human beings are connected to one another in families and societies in a vast complex web of interdependence. It is also true that all human beings are connected to the material world—the same elements that make up the human body are all taken from other things in nature. When a person eats and grows he assimilates his food intake into his body; he literally is what he eats. But there is much more to a human being than the body. There is the soul as well and all of the immense powers of reason, wonder and imagination that human beings have as well. Each of us think their own thoughts, has their own beliefs, reflects on their own experiences, fears, hopes and dreams. The obvious individuality and irreducibility of each human person is something pantheism cannot adequately explain.
though it is only mythology now, it used to be believed
that's not what pantheism is.
That has nothing to do with anything anyone said @DorgonIzFly
people can believe in things that arent true
And?
anyway, i think i lost a few IQ points, so ima try to regain them back (only a joke dont take this seriously)
peace ✌️

Pantheism is the belief that all the forces in the universe are God. An example of pantheism is rejecting the idea that God has an individual personality.
as moral creatures the laws of this universe give us no justification as to what is right and wrong or good or bad
True
yup.
therfore the creator of moral free creatures has to be personal
how so?
which is closer to Einstein's belief of god.
Einstein believed in the God of the bible and proclaimed there are no story or Gods that compare to him
some things are unfathomable keep that in mind
he did not - he rejected the idea of a personal god.
so explaining where God could have came from is logically impossible as humans trapped in time space and matter
read his books drew
He talks about the God of the bible and admires the bible, but that wasn't his personal idea of god.
Ok i admit you cant have an opinion of the God of the bible because he is athouratative
he is what he is described by his inspired word to man
I don’t think morality is objective. I think it’s different for everyone, but there are definitely trends. It is important to acknowledge these and find a consensus on certain issues. There will always be some conflict unfortunately, as people have different values. However certain things can easily be agreed upon, and I think there is an evolutionary basis for these trends.
evolution isnt observed
its not even science
variations within the kind was a definition that existed before micro evolution was even a word
and thats all we observe
I’m just explaining my position
your conscience has been proven to exist at 6 months old same with morality
you can see that society changes our conscience but its the same across the board
murder is wrong
rape is wrong
