um, only half the earth is facing the sun -_-

2020-02-17 07:31:11 UTC

negative tone be like

2020-02-17 08:15:35 UTC

@Derek Nelson we created a local hotspot?

2020-02-17 08:17:28 UTC

The sun does.

2020-02-17 09:00:34 UTC

so uh, if the earth is flat, how does the sun pass below the horizon

2020-02-17 09:27:28 UTC

It doesn’t.

2020-02-17 09:37:00 UTC

even taking light refraction into account, how does it remain the same size and shape from sunrise to sunset

2020-02-17 09:45:35 UTC

You can literally see that the sun has changed size until it’s zoomed back onto.

2020-02-17 09:48:34 UTC

so does that mean the sun appears brighter as it gets further away?

2020-02-17 09:51:07 UTC

im sorry ill try to get to vc this afternoon if your open?

2020-02-17 13:30:40 UTC

Ok, so I was going to ask about the flat earth model

2020-02-17 13:31:17 UTC

Ignoring warped proportions, on earth, exactly half of the earth is illuminated at any point in time. However, I haven't seen this or on any flat earth model

2020-02-17 13:31:51 UTC

Also, if we go off of the seasons model where the sun changes "circles" that would cause the problem of the light source moving

2020-02-17 13:33:19 UTC

Is there anyway to fix the model for it to work?

2020-02-17 13:34:08 UTC

There is no flat earth model

2020-02-17 13:37:30 UTC

Ok?
