you can't use that as an argument because they don't believe in gravity

2020-02-20 21:19:12 UTC

lol

2020-02-20 21:19:12 UTC

if the earth was round and you were on an airplane flying straight, the gyroscope would detect an axial tilt but it doesn't. provide refutation to that statement bitch boy

2020-02-20 21:19:43 UTC

breaking: man angry he saw a football that was round

2020-02-20 21:20:05 UTC

In the grand scheme of things the size of the bolivian salt flats isnt that much

2020-02-20 21:20:13 UTC

Yes of course they would have a curve but an extremely minimal one

2020-02-20 21:22:00 UTC

someone in here tried to argue that a glass of water would be curved, i don't think scale has much meaning to them @chrisb0302

2020-02-20 21:22:36 UTC

yeah that's a logical point globe believers cling to, same with a droplet of water

2020-02-20 21:22:55 UTC

ok I got it

2020-02-20 21:23:01 UTC

oh you legitimately think a glass of water would be curved..?

2020-02-20 21:23:06 UTC

i thought that was just one person

2020-02-20 21:23:27 UTC

that's almost all glober's argument, that it has tension on the side clinging to the glass

2020-02-20 21:24:35 UTC

the angular momentum of a gyroscope is tilted with the rotation of the earth due to its gravity

2020-02-20 21:25:10 UTC

can't argue that when gravity doesn't exist 💯

2020-02-20 21:25:20 UTC

I don't understand why the gyroscope would detect an axial tilt as it travels on an airplane...

2020-02-20 21:26:02 UTC

The girls at my school are as flat as the earth

2020-02-20 21:26:08 UTC

Even though it isn't flat

2020-02-20 21:26:10 UTC

damn they thick huh :jaz

2020-02-20 21:26:16 UTC

global emotes are off

2020-02-20 21:26:18 UTC

nice

2020-02-20 21:26:31 UTC

No they are as flat as all the sidewalks I've ever walked on

2020-02-20 21:26:38 UTC

gyroscopes detect any axial tilt

2020-02-20 21:26:43 UTC

Not in here, guys. Take the shitposts to lounge please.

2020-02-20 21:27:05 UTC

Damn that pfp hot

2020-02-20 21:27:16 UTC

I agree, @Strike

2020-02-20 21:27:19 UTC

Wanna see pregnant Hitler

2020-02-20 21:27:31 UTC

last warning, @Saggy puss lips

2020-02-20 21:27:36 UTC

Okay sorry

2020-02-20 21:28:51 UTC

yes but the earths gravity moves the axial tilt along with the earth as it rotates

2020-02-20 21:33:19 UTC

On a globe, there's no change in axial tilt as you travel along the surface because the center of mass is always downward.

That's why saying things like "water is always level" doesn't mean much because water is always level on a globe earth too.

2020-02-20 21:34:19 UTC

Water would be curved actually on a globe not level

2020-02-20 21:34:32 UTC

water is curved AND level

2020-02-20 21:34:35 UTC

on a globe

2020-02-20 21:35:06 UTC

level doesn't necessarily mean flat.

2020-02-20 21:35:32 UTC

is this flat shelf level?

2020-02-20 21:35:56 UTC

if the vase were filled with water, it would be completely level even on that slanted surface
