An astronaut and a cosmonaut

2020-03-02 22:01:19 UTC

The astronaut is a flat Esther

2020-03-02 22:01:27 UTC

Earther

2020-03-02 22:01:40 UTC

That's why he never went to space

2020-03-02 22:01:40 UTC

And the cosmonaut admits that space is fake

2020-03-02 22:01:43 UTC

Is an Globe earthier denier and flat weather the same?

2020-03-02 22:01:52 UTC

He supposedly went to space

2020-03-02 22:01:58 UTC

First polish astronaut

2020-03-02 22:02:00 UTC

because air and water are variable and in fact also the corresponding equations are variable

2020-03-02 22:02:01 UTC

@GreeceGuy PhD what is your definition a “flat earther ”?

2020-03-02 22:02:17 UTC
2020-03-02 22:02:49 UTC

That you either have to think a or b ? What if you choose to think even bigger? Imagine?

2020-03-02 22:03:16 UTC

Imagine making claims you have no evidence for lOl 😂

2020-03-02 22:03:38 UTC

Yeah lol exactly, a flat earther

2020-03-02 22:03:41 UTC

Are you writing a story?

2020-03-02 22:03:43 UTC

No evidence

2020-03-02 22:03:47 UTC

I was writing

2020-03-02 22:03:51 UTC

That was your refute?

2020-03-02 22:04:07 UTC

Definition equals = lol ?

2020-03-02 22:04:10 UTC

No

2020-03-02 22:04:14 UTC

I will write

2020-03-02 22:04:16 UTC

Have at it

2020-03-02 22:04:42 UTC

Don’t use straw man and logical fallacies please...

This article is about the idea that the Earth is roughly spherical and its history. For the size and shape of the Earth in geodesy, see Figure of the Earth. For the measurement, see Earth's circumference.
"Round world" redirects here. For other uses, see The World is Round.

Medieval artistic representation of a spherical Earth – with compartments representing earth, air, and water (c. 1400)
The earliest documented mention of the spherical Earth concept dates from around the 5th century BC, when it was mentioned by ancient Greek philosophers.[1][2] It remained a matter of speculation until the 3rd century BC, when Hellenistic astronomy established the spherical shape of the Earth as a physical fact and calculated the Earth's circumference. The paradigm was gradually adopted throughout the Old World during Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages.[3][4][5][6] For example, Armenian scientist Anania Shirakatsi (610-685 AD) subscribed to the idea of a spherical Earth.[7] A practical demonstration of Earth's sphericity was achieved by Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastián Elcano's circumnavigation (1519–1522).[8]
The concept of a spherical Earth displaced earlier beliefs in a flat Earth: In early Mesopotamian mythology, the world was portrayed as a flat disk floating in the ocean with a hemispherical sky-dome above,[9] and this forms the premise for early world maps like those of Anaximander and Hecataeus of Miletus. Other speculations on the shape of Earth include a seven-layered ziggurat or cosmic mountain, alluded to in the Avesta and ancient Persian writings (see seven climes).
The realization that the figure of the Earth is more accurately described as an ellipsoid dates to the 17th century, as described by Isaac Newton in Principia. In the early 19th century, the flattening of the earth ellipsoid was determined to be of the order of 1/300 (Delambre, Everest). The modern value as determined by the US DoD World Geodetic System since the 1960s is close to 1/298.25.[10]

hundred of years ago

2020-03-02 22:05:51 UTC

What’s that novel for

2020-03-02 22:05:58 UTC

What are you trying to prove

2020-03-02 22:06:23 UTC

that the earth is round

2020-03-02 22:06:50 UTC

Where exactly is the proof

2020-03-02 22:07:12 UTC

The Earth is massive enough that the pull of gravity maintains its roughly spherical shape. Most of its deviation from spherical stems from the centrifugal force caused by rotation around its north-south axis. This force deforms the sphere into an oblate ellipsoid

2020-03-02 22:07:33 UTC

@IXI where is the proof that the earth is flat

2020-03-02 22:07:56 UTC

You made an assumption

2020-03-02 22:07:59 UTC

Not a proof

2020-03-02 22:08:34 UTC

@IXI give me the proof that the earth is flat

2020-03-02 22:08:37 UTC

again

2020-03-02 22:09:12 UTC

Have u seen the earth as a globe with ur own eyes

2020-03-02 22:09:18 UTC

yes

2020-03-02 22:09:29 UTC

just go in a plane

2020-03-02 22:09:38 UTC

and you see the curvature
