It's light Rays

2020-03-03 14:45:10 UTC

Trix where are you images you wanted to post, what do they show?

2020-03-03 14:45:19 UTC

so there is no diffraction limit?

2020-03-03 14:45:23 UTC

LOLOLOLOL

2020-03-03 14:45:28 UTC

They showed how the seasons would work so I could show garfield

The Rayleigh Criterion
The Rayleigh criterion is the generally accepted criterion for the minimum resolvable detail - the imaging process is said to be diffraction-limited when the first diffraction minimum of the image of one source point coincides with the maximum of another.

Do you think someone should be able to see Dallas to Las Vegas?

2020-03-03 14:46:55 UTC

that's 1000 miles

2020-03-03 14:47:14 UTC

If they have a powerful device that can then I guess so

2020-03-03 14:47:15 UTC

Well todays visibility in Dallas is 10 miles

2020-03-03 14:47:32 UTC

the tallest building in Las Vegas is 620 ft

2020-03-03 14:47:46 UTC

That is an angular size of .006 degrees

2020-03-03 14:47:58 UTC

it would be obstructed by a 6 inch object 1 miles away

2020-03-03 14:48:35 UTC

U cant cause there's also something called pollution in the air unfortunately

2020-03-03 14:48:59 UTC

Referring to garfield ^

2020-03-03 14:49:09 UTC

even without particulates. Air is not 100% transparent

2020-03-03 14:49:17 UTC

no gas is

2020-03-03 14:49:20 UTC

Yess ik

2020-03-03 14:49:38 UTC

Oxygen obscures as well over long enough distance

2020-03-03 16:02:53 UTC

if day length is a reason for the warmth(during summer time), why in (for instance) finland the summertime is usually around 20-25 degrees celsius while the sun is up 24/7 (at some parts) and down south europe where the sun is not up 24/7 it is way warmer?

2020-03-03 16:31:42 UTC

Makes no sense

@KaaMeri ikr? The Sun would need to be nearer to the Earth at those kind of places but the sun doesn't change in size and physically it would make no sense why the Sun should move forwards or backwards.

2020-03-03 16:35:33 UTC

yea

2020-03-03 16:36:54 UTC

Easily explained

2020-03-03 16:36:57 UTC

I mean sun does change in size but it's very very minimalistic compared to it's original size + the change is not going back and fourth

Ok what about seasons

2020-03-03 16:37:45 UTC

that doesn't cover up the season thing

2020-03-03 16:38:33 UTC

dunno

2020-03-03 16:38:38 UTC

..k

2020-03-03 16:38:42 UTC

doesnt matter we know its flat 😉

2020-03-03 16:38:52 UTC

Ok about the moon

2020-03-03 16:39:00 UTC

It’s above/ on the flat earth right

2020-03-03 16:39:01 UTC

that would mean the sun should move faster the further away it is from it's average point, yet we can not observe changes on the speed
