Genuine question (with followup). The moon in the flat earth model has been said to be close/local. Have any distance estimated been made?

Ok. So the followup question is: why is there only an extremely small change in viewing angle of the moon when travelling in latitude (or indeed as the moon passes overhead)?

I did an envelope calculation and for a flat earth model to reproduce the observations of a round earth model, the moon would need to be much higher

in the order of 10^7 meters

which is about 10,000km

3000km is *about* similar

i dont know how this plane of existence works

all i know is that modern physics is a sham
