hi, i’m not trolling just genuinely curious about the flat earth theory and i’m trying to get more informed.

why would the government lie about the earth being a globe?

if the earth is flat, why is the moon/sun/other planets spheres?

2020-03-14 16:52:14 UTC

@IXI imma wait for it to be posted

2020-03-14 16:52:21 UTC

It’s a flat earth phenomenon

I don’t understand what’s the problem

2020-03-14 16:52:55 UTC

The problem is when you increase the distance

2020-03-14 16:53:53 UTC

If both go further the person underneath you won’t be able to see the tree at all

2020-03-14 16:54:07 UTC

But you will

2020-03-14 16:54:12 UTC

Okay

2020-03-14 16:54:27 UTC

Because you see further when you are higher

2020-03-14 16:54:29 UTC

Duh

2020-03-14 16:55:19 UTC

Wh-

2020-03-14 16:55:22 UTC

You know

2020-03-14 16:55:36 UTC

the corona virus wouldn't be able to spread if the earth was round

2020-03-14 16:55:38 UTC

it would get stuck

2020-03-14 16:55:48 UTC

because it can only go in a straight line

2020-03-14 16:55:54 UTC

becuz of the javascript phenomenon

2020-03-14 16:56:28 UTC

@IXI so u believe earth is round?

2020-03-14 16:56:36 UTC

No

2020-03-14 16:56:39 UTC

Cause that’s the only way for what u said to be possible

2020-03-14 16:56:52 UTC

Generally, you don't see further when you are higher, this mostly happens in places where there are landmarks or buildings obstructing your view, in which case going higher allows you to see past them, thus further, but if there is nothing blocking your view, you should see as far at low altitudes as at high altitudes

Ignoring atmospheric refraction in this scenario

2020-03-14 16:57:09 UTC

if the earth was round it would *gyrate* right...?

2020-03-14 16:57:42 UTC

but I mean

2020-03-14 16:57:45 UTC

have you seen the boat thing

2020-03-14 16:57:56 UTC

Curious, youre not allowed refraction, now what?

2020-03-14 16:57:57 UTC

how come the lazer gets higher as the boat moves further across the water

2020-03-14 16:58:02 UTC

that point towards the earth being round

2020-03-14 16:58:08 UTC

no

2020-03-14 16:58:11 UTC

yes...

2020-03-14 16:58:12 UTC

xD

2020-03-14 16:58:17 UTC

I'm not allowed refraction?
